Aims:

Annals of the College of Medicine – Mosul aims to publish high‑quality research that addresses the local and regional clinical, scientific, and educational needs. 

The journal is committed to:

  • Support the production of medical knowledge relevant to local and regional health challenges.

  • Promote clinically applicable research that enhances healthcare delivery within local institutions.

  • Providing a reliable scholarly platform for local and regional researchers.

  • Encouraging studies that offer practical solutions to regional community health problems.

  • Advancing institutional medical research through strict adherence to quality, ethics, and scientific integrity.

 Scope:

The journal publishes research articles, reviews (systematic and narrative), editorials , letter to editor, case reports and educational studies in medical and other health sciences that are directly relevant to the local and regional context. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to:

  • Clinical medicine and its subspecialties

  • Basic medical sciences with clear relevance to clinical practice

  • Public health, epidemiology, and community‑based research

  • Medical education and curriculum development within local and regional institutions

The journal prioritizes manuscripts that contribute to improving healthcare practices, understanding regional health issues, and strengthening medical education within the local environment. However, original research with high global impact are also highly welcomed.
